Hey Everyone,
I HAD to share this with yall! It is cracking me up so I hope you enjoy it as much as I am! Kelly is a dear friend of ours and so much fun, as you will be able to tell!
Jingle Bells 2009
(please sing aloud)
Lyrics adapted by Kelly Watts, a Mom with two kids under two)
Dashing through the house
Three curlers in my hair
O’er the toys I go
And Noah’s baby bear
Knocking at the door
Still in my underwear
Just drop that parcel at the door
And save that scary stare
Oh, jingle bells, burning toast
Laundry’s here to stay
Oh what fun it is to go
To Starbucks every day
Jingle bells, juicy spills
Stickies everywhere
Oh, what fun it is to not
Have a min-ute to spare
Dishes piling up
Where is my Cascade?
Oh what fun for me
If I could hire a maid
Diapers need a change
Wipes I cannot find
Food burning on the range
Follow that be-HIND!
Oh, jingle bells, tattle-tales
Squishy cheer-i-os
Oh, what fun it is to see
Gerber food on newly painted toes
Jingle bells, what’s that smell
Coming from the room?
A diaper I forgot to chunk
Last Sunday afternoon
Makeup on one eye
Lipstick, what is that?
Baby chewing on
Daddy’s baseball hat
Markers, oh, no, NO!
Not Mommy’s new white shirt,
Handprints on the fridge
Wet with outside dirt
Jingle bells, it’s okay
This won’t be every day
Babies grow up too fast
And soon they’ll be on their way
Jingle bells, sweet lotion smells
Snuggles on my chest
This very messy, unpro-duc-tive
Christmas is the best

What's Been Going On!!
Hey Everyone, I have already gotten behind on keeping up with blogging! Sorry about that. We have been very busy lately, but then again, when are we not busy. WE have 3 kids!!!
So Halloween was so much fun. We had a bunch of people over at our house to go trick or treating. The kids were all cute in their costumes. I was going to post some pictures for everyone to see but the computer CRASHED a week or so ago and I haven't figured out how to load them onto this one yet. Hopefully Tommy can show me.
He did get our Christmas photos loaded so I could order some cards for FREE! I only paid $3.19 for 50 photo cards with envelopes, all shipped to me! What a steal of a deal! They turned out great and I will be sending out 50 in the next couple of weeks. In my typical fashion, I planned ahead and got them, now I just have to try to get them in the mail so they will arrive to their destinations BEFORE Christmas. Although I do get a freebie when Noa was born because I wanted her in the pictures so we had to wait to take the pictures until Christmas eve of 2006.
I don't know about anyone else but I am so excited to say that ALL of my Christmas shopping is officially DONE! Yes I said DONE! Thanks to some great fellowship and shopping on Black Friday, all I have left to do is wrap it all. I do have to add that the gifts are scarce this year so I also didn't have a lot to shop for. We are taking a ski trip in January so the kids gifts mainly consist of ski jackets, bibs, gloves and other skiing accessories! Which by the way, Scooter and I snagged the kids a good ski jacket (made for skiing) at sears on Black Friday for $12.99 each! Tommy was not so excited but he was very excited about Madden 2010 for the Wii that I got for lil Tommy for Christmas. Men! Gotta love though, he let me shop all night and all day and then sleep in on Saturday. He's so great!
I have been looking for some employment lately and through God's guidance, he has led me to two great opportunities for our family. I first got this great gig sewing for a lady that runs an awesome online kids boutique. Here is her site: http://cottoncandyshop.com/ . It is just amazing, all the cute stuff. I can't wait to do some more work for her. Please check out her site and share it cause everything she has is high quality, very unique and just down right adorable! The second job is babysitting for a very cute little girl. Today was our first day and Noa had a great time playing all morning! The family is great and flexible and the two girls get along great. I have already packed our bag for tomorrow because we are so excited. Noa picked out all her toys that she wanted to take over there and share. It's gonna be great! The only thing that I don't like, I am gonna miss Ellie for the next two months. I am very sad about that. Noa was already asking where Ellie was this morning. We are just gonna have to have her over on the weekend sometime.
On a high note, we are preparing for Noa's 3rd birthday party this weekend. I can't believe that she is almost 3 already (not till Dec. 21st). I am sad cause she is the baby, but then I am happy because she is getting more and more self sufficient and growing into a wonderful little girl. She is potty trained now too. Papa bought her a bike a month ago and she rides it all day, everyday. She loves that bike and puts everything in the basket in the front. It is so cute. The other day she had a pencil, some Popsicle sticks, some goldfish, her sippy cup and some crayons. What a mess! Anyway, because of her love of bugs and wanting to touch them and squish them and catch them, we are having a buggy birthday party on Saturday. It should be lots of fun with a bug hunt in the backyard (weather permitting) and a round of pin the butterfly and bee on the flower. We ordered her caterpillar cake today and she was telling the lady at the bakery all about her buggy birthday party. It was so cute. Oh and I can't forget the dirt cups we are gonna have too.
Well that is all for now! I hope all is well with everyone else and hopefully I will learn how to post pictures with my next post. Love you all!

Bedtime Story
I'd like to start off by saying that our camera is not acting correctly, BUT I had to share this picture. Tommy is reading The Creation Story to the kids for bedtime. I caught them with the camera but Noa caught me taking a picture. I just love seeing them enjoy time with Daddy! It's moments like these when I just want to make them all freeze. But then again I also love seeing them grow and learn new things. Bye for now!

The top picture is Hannah in her impromptu pirate costume. She went to a halloween party on Friday and had a blast with a lot of new friends. She has decided that she wants to be a bag of jelly beans for the actual halloween night so we will be working on that costume this week. I can't wait to post pictures of our halloween costumes later this week!

A Busy Season

Life is full of seasons, one after another. Right now we are back in a busy season. Usually the fall and spring are the busiest times for us. Hannah is playing softball, Tommy is playing soccer and Noa is just Noa and goes along for every ride, game and practice! Hannah has had 9 games rained out this season, but for some reason we still feel busy. But we love the business! It keeps us focused and dependent on God. Without his daily strength, I don't think we could pull through each day, at least not with a joyful heart!
Today Hannah has her first band concert. I am not sure how much playing they will be doing because she said they only have 2 songs, each lasting about 1 minute. But we will be there to hear all the squeaks and off notes that they make. It will be fun! We also have a softball game tomorrow night, as long as it doesn't rain again. Tommy has two soccer games this weekend too.
And some more really great news.......Noa is potty trained!!!!! I am so proud of her, she did almost on her own!
Lastly, I know that this is an old picture, but I came across it and I just loved it! It was taken December 22, 2008. The morning after Noa was born. Hannah and Tommy made their shirts and still wear them now, almost 3 years later. Just the other day Hannah said she wanted to keep that shirt forever! Oh and yes, my son is probably picking his nose, I don't try to stop it anymore so hopefully they will grow out of that some day!
I hope everyone reading is having a great day and will continue to do so, I am off to prepare for dinner, do laundry, dishes, take a jog on the treadmill, clean my bathroom and send an email!!!! Busy busy I tell you! --Amy
